Secondly, most companies offering these type services are affiliated with either credit reporting services, insurance services, or consumer credit counseling services, thus your personal data is being utilized for other purposes. CPS is a free standing consulting unit that only offers Credit Security Service.

In addition, our program utilizes a very unique service which is not being utilized by any other company that we are aware of. The CPS program locks in your contact information such as phone number(s), email and mailing address on your credit files with the 3 major Bureaus and your creditors with the process of a Notarized request from you the client. This prohibits the opening of fraudulent accounts and having statements mailed to a false address. (this is the number one area of crime occurrence through electronic theft). By utilizing this feature, the e-crimes will be drastically if not entirely discouraged. To commit fraud on one of our clients following the initiation of this program, a criminal will have to forge the client's signature, forge a Notary and use the US Mail system (which is about 17 felonies). E-criminals will not use a pen and paper as they want to be invisible.

The Credit bureaus are all jumping into the security market mainly because they are now required to offer some sort of protective service. Ironically, we believe they are big part of the problem. The bureaus have been sharing and selling our personal data for years. Many of the new problems can be attributed to this ease of information flow. Now they want to help.
