- CPS assists consumers to safeguard
their personal information by notifying all major credit bureaus,
creditors and other service providers by placing special considerations
on their accounts. By exercising these precautions on new and
existing accounts to include personal contact data ( i.e. mailing
address, contact numbers etc.) the consumer receives a higher
level of credit fraud and identity theft security. In turn, making
it harder for someone to gain access and use this information
for unauthorized uses.
